Growing Calea Zacachichi (Dream Herb)

Calea zacachichi & other herbs can easily be grown indoors or outdoors (provided the weather conditions are correct). Calea Zacachichi requires sunlight and a well-drained soil mix that's isn't too rich. We recommend a South or West facing window as this will maximize daylight hours for the plant. When planting or re-potting Calea Zacachichi, you should mix 2-1 mix, 2 parts sterilized potting soil to 1 part perlite (both are available at all garden centers). Don't forget a layer of gravel in the bottom of the pot to help with drainage. During plant growth Calea Zacahichi will benefit from more water (but do not drench the herbs and don't let the roots become soggy as this could cause root rot). Also consider regular misting & feeding with half strength plant food every 1-2 weeks.
